MOUNTAIN ERUPTING FAR, WIDE AND LOUD WITH CURRENT RELEASES AND TOURS

Guitarist Leslie West, drummer Corky Laing and bassist Richie Scarlet are proving rock lives with active tour dates and successful recordings.  The band, which has been celebrating their 35th Anniversary, are getting exciting presents  as Active Rock and Rock radio is making the Ozzy Osbourne cover of their 1970 hit “Mississippi Queen” the number one most added track.  For the second week in a row, “Mississippi Queen” is still the most added track and is also number #1 in increased airplay . Here's how the charts are shaping up after three weeks:

Active Rock National Airplay: Week 1: #40, Week 2 : #27, Week 3 : #20

Rock National Airplay : Week 1: #37, Week 2: #22, Week 3: #16

Canadian Rock National Airplay : Week 3: #25

Leslie West is featured with his unique guitar power on the track, “Ozzy and I go back 35 years.  Everybody thought Black Sabbath were too weird back then, but we dug ‘em.”  So Mountain and Sabbath played at least 40 dates together, and stayed friends since.

West and Mountain are also playing in support of their Fuel 2000 album, ERUPTION, which is still selling briskly and has a live version of “Mississippi Queen” as well.

The band will be releasing a new album that'll include Bob Dylan covers this summer in time for their summer festival tour called HARD ROCK CRUSADES with Savoy Brown and Uriah Heep.

In the meantime the group continues to play festivals in Europe and club dates in the States.
