Roger That

(Directive Affirmative!)

Inclusion

I reached out to the wrong person

and had to make a transition

to find humanity

a friend for my poetry

at Poe Cottage

He listened

first to my friend the musician

then to my never ending

idea of connecting

to create a night of poetry

at Poe Cottage

He’s written

stories about our community

and organized its history

including some teaching

manifesting our right to write

at Poe Cottage

He waited

for the people that journeyed

to a wrong location

and directed them here

walking them to Poe Cottage

To write poetry

I’m thankful

He listened and gave me

this new beginning

it’s about education

gracing kindness at Poe Cottage

in our poetry.

Through media initiatives, in collaboration with artists, authors, and organizations from all around the world, AMPU’s mission of establishing a peaceful planet and a healthy biosphere will be an ongoing commitment. “One of the goals for the project is to pair up artists who live in opposing countries for collaborations that go beyond politics, religion and borders,” says Krista.

The team has produced a musical spoken word album that will exchange ideas, stories, and information focused on bringing about World Peace through individual responsibility, Education, and helping each other. Kevin says, “We endeavor to raise awareness of environmental and humanitarian crisis and find actionable solutions.”

“Our individual actions can make a big difference, but our collective actions can move the World, Inspire Change,” says Rupam.

UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) strives to promote peace and security among nations through education, science, and culture.

Dan Aykroyd says, “I pray for the moment of mass consciousness when we all wake up and bring peace into our own hearts and souls. It’s a challenge and it’s going to take every one of us to make it happen.” The double CD album with 45 tracks of Musical Spoken Word and Songs will be officially released on Sept 21, 2016. MEDIA ADVISORY: CEVIN SOLING OFFERS NO HOPE FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA’S MESSAGE TO INSPIRE SCHOOL CHILDREN OR ADMINISTRATORS

THE WAR ON KIDS’ filmmaker Cevin Soling says the uproar on President Obama’s Tuesday address to school children is absolutely misguided by both those in favor and those opposed to it.

In fact, Soling believes President Obama is misguided about inspiring school children with his speech, “They all have faith in the institution of schools.”

While he acknowledges the uproar against having school kids watch the film is “purely political,” Soling believes that today’s school systems are doing more harm than good for our children. His movie, THE WAR ON KIDS shows how American public schools continue to become more dangerously authoritarian. In addition to failing in their mission educate effectively, they erode the country's democratic foundation and often resemble prisons.

THE WAR ON KIDS won “best educational film” at the New York City International Independent Film and Video Festival this past April. It will be shown on September 30 at Harvard University in Boston. It runs November 18-25 at the Quad Cinema, in New York City.

Cevin’s documentary, THE WAR ON THE WAR ON DRUGS won NYIIFVF's best experimental feature film. Cevin has directed and produced a number of films, including: RELAX IT'S JUST SEX starring Jennifer Tilly, Lori Petty and Cynda Williams; A HOLE IN THE HEAD, which was broadcast on Discovery and The Learning Channel; and URINE: GOOD HEALTH. He also created a number of animated works, including THE BILL JOHNSON SHOW, BORIS THE DOG (which broadcast on both MTV and the BBC), CAPTAIN STICKMAN, as well as the short film, DESTRUCTION.
