If you’re a fan of an artist, let them influence you in many ways. Rick taught me the value of being yourself, and learning about yourself, and how much happier it makes you, and keeps you going, professionally. The profound example he used in a big interview we did was of 1980s' superstar Michael Jackson, "50 million people love and 50 million can't stand him."
He worked with Joy Behar, whose speaking voice was loved and hated by millions. Therefore she turned it into millions as an interviewer with a sense of humor. Early on, she and Rick collaborated on camera for a cable TV show, Way Off Broadway. The show, which found its way into music biz gossip columns, was taped in New York City, between 1987-1988, and seen on cable TV throughout the United States.
As of now, here are all the links that have recently resurfaced on the Internet.
