New Music Video From Robeone

Plus New Merch Company &

Playing the National Anthem for Bob Moog’s 90th Birthday Thursday!

Robeone’s new music video, “Broken Days” contrasts chess and keyboard. How Robeone attacks his movement as he plays keytar shows common motions with an “ebony and ivory” man and woman flowing from a standard chess board into one the size of a large living room! In the end the couple unites with calm confidence. The video was created by Robeone’s longtime video producer Blake Carpenter and is live on YouTube.

Robeone says, “’Broken Days’ is about all the turmoil in the world every day. The two people fighting in the chess game at the end become friends, a hopeful thought.”

The “Broken Days” digital single on Transglobal Records/ The Orchard-Sony is available on streaming media. Fans can buy downloads of the composition on Bandcamp.  robeone.bandcamp.com/track/broken-days-2

Ultimately this track will be on Robeone’s next album, which is still being created.  Proceeds from the single’s sales-- and all of Robeone’s releases—go directly to the Bob Moog Foundation which teaches children Music and Science.

Robeone is engaged in a number of projects including work on another Red32 album. He set up a new relationship with the New Jersey-based, Bandwagon USA merchandise site.  Visit thebandwagonusa.com/collections/robeone

Robeone has released six albums— “Robeone,” “Circles,” “My World,” Piano Stories,” “Keep the Music Flowing,” “Halos and Dogs,” and “Dream Suite.”

Robeone’s alter ego Robert Schindler was keyboardist in bands including States, Mayson, Blue Angel, Ruth Copeland, Ronnie Spector, Rhett Tyler.  He’s played on albums by Johnny Nash, Star Cruiser, Rian Adkinson, Joe Mac's American Garage (on Melodic Revolution Records)...  He composed and recorded the Award-Winning Documentary Soundtrack "The Fiery Narrows - Following The Path Of John Charles Fremont."

New Robeone Album “Dream Suite”

All Sales Go to the Bob Moog Foundation to Help Educate Children

Robeone, “the Patron Saint for the Bob Moog Foundation” is releasing a new album, “Dream Suite,” on Transglobal Records / Orchard/Sony.  He’s making it available only through the Moog Foundation’s website at bobmoogfoundation.myshopify.com/collections/music.  Note well that 100% of all the album’s sales will go to the Bob Moog Foundation.

“I wanted to pay tribute to my biggest musical influences--Keith Emerson, Jon Lord and Brian Auger and other creative masters,” says Robeone, whose real name is Robert Schindler.

The album, “Dream Suite” defines Robeone’s style that grows from dynamic musical genres as wide-ranging a mix of progressive rock, new age, jazz fusion, and cinematic genres. “Hollow,” with its Keith Emerson soaring synth, was inspired by “great film scores.” “All That Razz” sounds like Gershwin fell in love with artsy electric string players, and was influenced by both Robert’s father (who loved jazz) and his favorite contemporary electric violinist Joe Deninzon.  The late Swedish Hammond organist/guitarist Bo Hansson inspired the flowing “Levels.”

“M is for Moog” is Robert’s “tribute to Moog and all Bob Moog gave to the world. The composition is all Moog synthesizer,” Robeone says, and he cites the late Japanese synthesist Isao Tomita, a Moog devotee, for influence on the recording. Brian Auger and Keith Emerson influence the frisky “Jazzmorphis.”  The album ends with an epic musical journey, “Dream Suite,” with moving symphonic organ parts inspired by Deep Purple’s Jon Lord.

In addition to the Moog, Robeone uses a range of only keyboards on the “Dream Suite” album-- Mellotron, Kurzweil, Yamaha, Roland, Korg, Ensonic Roli Seaboard, EMU, and the Ashun Sound Machine.

Robeone/Robert has been recording since the early 1970s. He’s worked with notables Ronnie Spector and for Johnny Nash when “I Can See Clearly Now” was a hit.  He played with progressive rockers Mayson on Bearsville Records, pop rock acts The States on Chrysalis and Boardwalk Records. He’s in the progressive rock group ZOOM with Paul Landry on New Age Music Planet Records. Recently he recorded with two different Melodic Revolution Records’ artists Tony Romero’s Vortex and Joe Mac’s American Garage. He’s played live at a number of Festivals—most recently ProgStock and RosFest. Robert also worked on the award-winning soundtrack to "The Fiery Narrows - Following the Path of John Charles Fremont."

Located in Asheville, North Carolina, The Bob Moog Foundation is an independent 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of Bob Moog by inspiring others through science, music, and innovation. The Foundation is providing much needed innovative and effective educational opportunities to children — youth who will become tomorrow’s generation of thinkers and problem solvers.

At the young age of 70 Robert has just released his 6th solo recording, ROBEONE on LABEL.  The keyboardist says,  “Robeone is short for Robeoneknobe-- a nickname I got years ago at work for being a huge ‘Star Wars’ fan. It stuck and I decided to use it for my music name.’”

Robert has been recording since the early 1970s with progressive rockers Mayson on Bearsville Records, pop rock acts The States on Chrysalis and Boardwalk Records, the eclectic Tony Romero’s Vortex on Melodic Revolution Records, and the progressive rock group ZOOM with Paul Landry on New Age Music Planet Records. He’s worked with a number of artists—including notables Ronnie Spector and keyboards for Johnny Nash when “I Can See Clearly Now” was a hit.  He played keyboards for the Award-Winning documentary Soundtrack "The Fiery Narrows - Following The Path Of John Charles Fremont.”
