Robeone's “If You Don’t Know What It Is, It Must Be Jazz" Out October 1, 2026

100% of Sales Supports The Bob Moog Foundation

Keyboardist and composer Robeone will release his new instrumental album, “If You Don’t Know What It Is, It Must Be Jazz,” on October 1, 2026 through Transglobal Records. The seven‑track album blends progressive rock, jazz fusion, electronic textures, and playful experimentation. 100% of the album’s proceeds will support The Bob Moog Foundation, continuing Robeone’s long relationship with the organization.

About the Album

Robeone performs all instruments --all are keyboards-- to create the depth and variety of a full ensemble. The music moves through elements of funk, progressive rock, jazz fusion, and cinematic electronic storytelling.

Track titles such as “Crimble Crumble,” “Hello Bambinos,” “Fox in the Freezer,” and “Sit Wilson Sit” reference the British sitcom Friday Night Dinner, adding humor and personality to the project.

The opening track, “A Lovely Bit of Squirrel,” introduces the album’s approach: guitar‑like tones, flute‑like colors, bass textures, and suspenseful percussion emerging entirely from Robeone’s keyboard arrangements.

The music video, “Hello Bambinos” will be live on Oct. 1, as well, and you'll be able to view it at www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZo-2bKgqz8 Created by Blake Carpenter, the music video intersperses Robeone's performing at his keyboards at home with puppies and kittens. When he's not making music or playing live, Robeone fosters rescued dogs.

Robeone Celebrates Bob Moog at 90 and the Moogseum’s 5th Year!

Michelle Moog-Koussa's TedX Speech on Encouraging Creative People

Robeone (aka Robert Schindler) is celebrating the 90th Birthday of inventor Bob Moog and the 5th Anniversary of the Moogseum with a special nod to this founding father of the modern day synthesizer.

Moog was a pioneer in electric sound, and dedicated his life to musicians, music, and innovation. His inventions innovated the sound, usages, and sizes of synthesizers, hence establishing the brand of the Moog Synthesizer.

The Bob Moog Foundation (founded in 2006) thanks Robeone for his contributions. Says founder Michelle Moog-Koussa, “Robert has supported us in just about every way possible, from frequent financial donations to volunteering to in-kind donations to attending all of our events and purchasing all of our new merch releases. He's always the first to show up to our events, and always offers to do more.” The Moogseum and the Bob Moog Foundation online store features his CDs and vinyl; 100% of the sales of his music there and online benefit the Bob Moog Foundation.

In celebration of the Moogseum’s 5th Anniversary, Robeone was honored to play “The Star Spangled Banner” on a 1981 Moog Liberation Keytar from the Bob Moog Foundation Archives at Greenwood Field, on May 24 at the Men’s Asheville City Soccer Club match against Marietta, Georgia’s Southern Soccer Academy Kings. Asheville continued its dominance over Georgia with a resounding 4-1 victory! Excerpts were caught by a fan;  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alxb0GNt4DY.

The Moogseum, a project of the Bob Moog Foundation, opened in 2019, and has welcomed over 40,000 visitors from all over the world.  Ms. Moog-Koussa says that the Bob Moog Foundation was founded after communications from “tens of thousands of people from around the world during my father's illness and passing” in 2005. “People sent us testimonials about how Bob Moog had changed their lives, and even transformed their lives, through his instruments. We felt this legacy of inspiration deserved to be carried forward to the next generation.”

Tours of the museum included viewing recent additions of rare instruments and historical materials from Bob Moog’s legacy. Visitors were allowed to play a rare Minimoog Voyager Signature Edition serial number 0176.

Robeone says, “The importance of Bob Moog’s inventions and his complete passion helped create an industry that still allows musicians to express themselves in ways we never dreamed possible. My life was changed when I heard the Moog solo at the end of ‘Lucky Man’ by Emerson Lake and Palmer. I couldn’t wait to be able to not only play one but to own one. The Minimoog was just being released, and I was saving every penny.”

Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool, the hallmark education project of the Bob Moog Foundation, teaches young children about the science of sound through music and technology . Robeone explains, “With the lack of music education in schools, it is so important to me to inspire the youth of today.” Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool has trained over 200 teachers. Over 30,000 children have been reached through Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool multi-sensory lessons.

The Moogseum is at 56 Broadway Street, Asheville, NC 28801.   828-258-1262

Meet “Red32,” Crossover ProgRockers

Anthony Romero (Keys, Spoken Word, Background Vocals) Hillsboro, OR

Steve Bonino (Vocals, Bass Guitar, Keys, Drum Programming) Orange County, CA

Robert Schindler (Keyboards) Charlotte, NC

Eric Confer (Guitar) Las Cruces, NM

Welcome to the world of Red32, “the Space Age Steely Dan.” This group for fans of Prog Rock artists including Ozric Tentacles, Klaatu, David Sylvian, Camel….

“A Place to Call Home” is Red32’s new music lyric video, and created by digital wizard Blake Carpenter.

The song was, also, picked up on both the Yacht Rock Podcast and Yacht Rockin’ Radio today.

Tony Romero says “A Place to Call Home” is about Ice age, climate change, nuclear war, virus outbreak, at some point the earth is going to be uninhabitable for mankind. For the human race to carry on we will have to travel into outer space to find a new home. This is a song about our future adventures into the unknown.

The album’s music ranges a number of crossover prog stylings, from hard to soft with topical observations and hopes for now and the future.

RED32 is a crossover progressive pop rock band based throughout the United States. The band strives to blend the varied influences of its four members into a forward-looking musical expression.

According to the Steve Bonino (TRV, Bomber Goggles, Solo). “Tony Romero was throwing out ideas for a second Tony Romero’s Vortex (TRV) album as he, Robert, Steve and Eric were sending audio files back and forth, enhancing Tony’s ideas as they have done in the past. However, half way through the recording process it became clear that what was being created felt different from a Tony solo project. It was sounding like a band unto itself. Thus Red32 was born as an inspired creation morphing out of another inspired creation. The band is excited to share this new sound with you. An amalgam of styles: rock, pop rock, progressive rock, art rock with a touch of ambient thrown into the mix. Filled with memorable melodies, thoughtful lyrics and creative arrangements, we invite you to spin the roulette wheel and land with us on Red32.”

Red32 is a new crossover progressive pop rock band based throughout the United States featuring members of Tony Romero’s Vortex, Xaoslord, Bomber Goggles, and States. The band strives to blend the varied influences of its four members into a forward-looking musical expression.

The Red32 album cover is made from recyclable and post consumer recycled materials. The inks used in printing our products are vegetable based making them more biodegradable than traditional petroleum-based inks. Our re-sealable crystal clear eco bags, that we use instead of cello wrapping and shrink wrapping, are made from acid-free, 10% post consumer recycled plastic and are preferred by our customers and stores, making them a big hit!

New Robeone Album “Dream Suite”

All Sales Go to the Bob Moog Foundation to Help Educate Children

Robeone, “the Patron Saint for the Bob Moog Foundation” is releasing a new album, “Dream Suite,” on Transglobal Records / Orchard/Sony.  He’s making it available only through the Moog Foundation’s website at bobmoogfoundation.myshopify.com/collections/music.  Note well that 100% of all the album’s sales will go to the Bob Moog Foundation.

“I wanted to pay tribute to my biggest musical influences--Keith Emerson, Jon Lord and Brian Auger and other creative masters,” says Robeone, whose real name is Robert Schindler.

The album, “Dream Suite” defines Robeone’s style that grows from dynamic musical genres as wide-ranging a mix of progressive rock, new age, jazz fusion, and cinematic genres. “Hollow,” with its Keith Emerson soaring synth, was inspired by “great film scores.” “All That Razz” sounds like Gershwin fell in love with artsy electric string players, and was influenced by both Robert’s father (who loved jazz) and his favorite contemporary electric violinist Joe Deninzon.  The late Swedish Hammond organist/guitarist Bo Hansson inspired the flowing “Levels.”

“M is for Moog” is Robert’s “tribute to Moog and all Bob Moog gave to the world. The composition is all Moog synthesizer,” Robeone says, and he cites the late Japanese synthesist Isao Tomita, a Moog devotee, for influence on the recording. Brian Auger and Keith Emerson influence the frisky “Jazzmorphis.”  The album ends with an epic musical journey, “Dream Suite,” with moving symphonic organ parts inspired by Deep Purple’s Jon Lord.

In addition to the Moog, Robeone uses a range of only keyboards on the “Dream Suite” album-- Mellotron, Kurzweil, Yamaha, Roland, Korg, Ensonic Roli Seaboard, EMU, and the Ashun Sound Machine.

Robeone/Robert has been recording since the early 1970s. He’s worked with notables Ronnie Spector and for Johnny Nash when “I Can See Clearly Now” was a hit.  He played with progressive rockers Mayson on Bearsville Records, pop rock acts The States on Chrysalis and Boardwalk Records. He’s in the progressive rock group ZOOM with Paul Landry on New Age Music Planet Records. Recently he recorded with two different Melodic Revolution Records’ artists Tony Romero’s Vortex and Joe Mac’s American Garage. He’s played live at a number of Festivals—most recently ProgStock and RosFest. Robert also worked on the award-winning soundtrack to "The Fiery Narrows - Following the Path of John Charles Fremont."

Located in Asheville, North Carolina, The Bob Moog Foundation is an independent 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of Bob Moog by inspiring others through science, music, and innovation. The Foundation is providing much needed innovative and effective educational opportunities to children — youth who will become tomorrow’s generation of thinkers and problem solvers.
