The music video for “Wake Up” shows imagery and Anna performing with a message. about why so many people are awakening and changing these days, moving away from lower vibrational people that take energy from them.  The story spotlights on recognizing and defining pain, progressing, and going through the process with truth.  Anna says, “The song is a call to break through the noise, to let go of the versions of ourselves we've been taught to perform, and to reconnect with something real. It’s about waking up to the truth that there’s nothing to fear in being who you are.”

She says the theme of her songs are about serving, “As I wake up, I’m helping you wake up.”

The music video and song resonated with Fan MamaChar Leonard, who posted on her social media, “I believe this one will be added to my morning routine! “

Anna, Frank, Alexis, and Robeone are working on their first album to be called, “Echoes of the Soul.” There are other songs on the upcoming album out, in addition to “Wake Up” and “Inner Peace,” songs already on streaming media include “Sincerety,” “Identify,” and “Song of Sorrow.”

“Wake Up”

Eyes are blinded,
Touch is grinded,
No one to feel it,
No one to heal it,
Calling,
You to wake up,

You need to wake up,
You need to wake up,
Wake up,
You need to,

Listening on the surface,
I tell you what my truth is,
Now stand up,
And be yourself,
There's nothing you can't do,

Listening on the surface,
I tell you what my truth is,
Stand up,
And be yourself,
There's nothing you can do,

Let yourself be your truth,
Wake up,

Eyes are blinded,
Touch is grinded,
No one to feel it,
Calling,
You to wake up.

Robeone Celebrates Bob Moog at 90 and the Moogseum’s 5th Year!

Michelle Moog-Koussa's TedX Speech on Encouraging Creative People

Robeone (aka Robert Schindler) is celebrating the 90th Birthday of inventor Bob Moog and the 5th Anniversary of the Moogseum with a special nod to this founding father of the modern day synthesizer.

Moog was a pioneer in electric sound, and dedicated his life to musicians, music, and innovation. His inventions innovated the sound, usages, and sizes of synthesizers, hence establishing the brand of the Moog Synthesizer.

The Bob Moog Foundation (founded in 2006) thanks Robeone for his contributions. Says founder Michelle Moog-Koussa, “Robert has supported us in just about every way possible, from frequent financial donations to volunteering to in-kind donations to attending all of our events and purchasing all of our new merch releases. He's always the first to show up to our events, and always offers to do more.” The Moogseum and the Bob Moog Foundation online store features his CDs and vinyl; 100% of the sales of his music there and online benefit the Bob Moog Foundation.

In celebration of the Moogseum’s 5th Anniversary, Robeone was honored to play “The Star Spangled Banner” on a 1981 Moog Liberation Keytar from the Bob Moog Foundation Archives at Greenwood Field, on May 24 at the Men’s Asheville City Soccer Club match against Marietta, Georgia’s Southern Soccer Academy Kings. Asheville continued its dominance over Georgia with a resounding 4-1 victory! Excerpts were caught by a fan;  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alxb0GNt4DY.

The Moogseum, a project of the Bob Moog Foundation, opened in 2019, and has welcomed over 40,000 visitors from all over the world.  Ms. Moog-Koussa says that the Bob Moog Foundation was founded after communications from “tens of thousands of people from around the world during my father's illness and passing” in 2005. “People sent us testimonials about how Bob Moog had changed their lives, and even transformed their lives, through his instruments. We felt this legacy of inspiration deserved to be carried forward to the next generation.”

Tours of the museum included viewing recent additions of rare instruments and historical materials from Bob Moog’s legacy. Visitors were allowed to play a rare Minimoog Voyager Signature Edition serial number 0176.

Robeone says, “The importance of Bob Moog’s inventions and his complete passion helped create an industry that still allows musicians to express themselves in ways we never dreamed possible. My life was changed when I heard the Moog solo at the end of ‘Lucky Man’ by Emerson Lake and Palmer. I couldn’t wait to be able to not only play one but to own one. The Minimoog was just being released, and I was saving every penny.”

Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool, the hallmark education project of the Bob Moog Foundation, teaches young children about the science of sound through music and technology . Robeone explains, “With the lack of music education in schools, it is so important to me to inspire the youth of today.” Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool has trained over 200 teachers. Over 30,000 children have been reached through Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool multi-sensory lessons.

The Moogseum is at 56 Broadway Street, Asheville, NC 28801.   828-258-1262

Topical Music for Tenacity, Politicians, Mental Health, Peace

Just a story from America by Abigail Rose Clark leads our list of topical music spotlights.  This
Midwestern country rock interpretation of Elliott Murphy's 1970's radio song makes sense in the 21st Century. Hard work and a race for a success. “Get up they put you down, And like a boxer You just spin around." Abigail has a voice that's a cross between Bebe Rexha & Rebecca Black.

Hollow by Robeone

bobmoogfoundation.bandcamp.com/track/hollow Only electronic keyboards are used on this classical music sound meeting Keith Emerson keyboard stylings.

Easy Money by Rebecca Loebe

female vocals, acoustic folk with western musical & lyrical influences, the song is about confronting someone that conned a friend. easy money is the motivation.

Please Be There  Orleans

Tenor male vocals, funky soft rock. Soulful strut piano and guitar. Lots of keyboards. For mental health—this is what everyone needs to be told—somebody to be there.  “Talk to me and I’ll talk to you.” “Take my hand, that’s what we’ll do.” Mutuality theme.

One Day (A Child’s Prayer) Hannah & Dean Friedman

Originally written for the 1991 Gulf War, the song is relevant now in the midst of one more, senseless, horrific war. Gentle strings and bells adorn a daughter and father duet.  She’s seeing children killed from missiles, The father sings that “One day there'll be no trace of war, disease, pollution.  If only presidents could see through children’s eyes, if only general could hear the babies’ cries.” Lots of comparisons and contrasts like kids fighting over toys with men fighting over land.

The Truth I Know  Robbie Wyckoff  (Song by Karen Besbeck & Carmen Grillo)

http://soundcloud.com/karen-besbeck/all-that-glitters-aint-gold-2  male country rock, slow tempo, optimistic lyrics, "I've been carrying a heavy load, now it's time to let go to the truth I know, holding on to faith in the human race."

I Think Politicians should be Put on Minimum Wage   Doozer McDooze

I think Politicians Should Be Put on Minimum Wage | Doozer McDooze (bandcamp.com)

Male english accent, music hall meets acoustic guitar meets "That's Alright, Mama" tempo, fighting for what's right--let the politicians make minimum wage. straight forward.  UK words "dosh" "council house"

Love and Valentines Songs

LAST CUTE MINUTE  by Robin Lane  country female electric "Maybelline"-styled guitar. A fun song about coming in touch with her own "fading beauty"--looking for a man with nothing wrong with him, and then admitting that she's got wrinkles. hook "This could be my last cute minute."

ALL THAT RAZZ by Robeone - flutters, has a smooth jazz chime…. And synthesizer flow that sometimes feel like wailing vocals, Gershwin and Dave Brubeck meets Space influences.

Emily Hurd's "Kiss Me Outta My Right Mind" is a finalist and honorable mention winner in the USA Songwriting Competition.  This old-school country song is about believing love will make it right, while she's trying so hard to do the right things and watching it all fall apart.

Yulia Joe Deninzon & Stratospheerius (Instrumental)  Gypsy jazz fusion, like John Coltrane meets Jean Luc Ponty. “Pat Metheny on violin.” goes from moody to orgasmic and major colors.

Love Killer Jaclyn Bradley  lush, slow tempo, dream pop female vocals, theme of fear as a love killer, let it all hang out, I'm here for the dream of love.

There She Is by Firefall:  Commercial pop yacht rock song that elevates an energetic and beautiful woman. "She keeps me inspired. She's taken my breath away. She's got me on fire, and I'm on my best behavior every night and day."

New Robeone Album “Dream Suite”

All Sales Go to the Bob Moog Foundation to Help Educate Children

Robeone, “the Patron Saint for the Bob Moog Foundation” is releasing a new album, “Dream Suite,” on Transglobal Records / Orchard/Sony.  He’s making it available only through the Moog Foundation’s website at bobmoogfoundation.myshopify.com/collections/music.  Note well that 100% of all the album’s sales will go to the Bob Moog Foundation.

“I wanted to pay tribute to my biggest musical influences--Keith Emerson, Jon Lord and Brian Auger and other creative masters,” says Robeone, whose real name is Robert Schindler.

The album, “Dream Suite” defines Robeone’s style that grows from dynamic musical genres as wide-ranging a mix of progressive rock, new age, jazz fusion, and cinematic genres. “Hollow,” with its Keith Emerson soaring synth, was inspired by “great film scores.” “All That Razz” sounds like Gershwin fell in love with artsy electric string players, and was influenced by both Robert’s father (who loved jazz) and his favorite contemporary electric violinist Joe Deninzon.  The late Swedish Hammond organist/guitarist Bo Hansson inspired the flowing “Levels.”

“M is for Moog” is Robert’s “tribute to Moog and all Bob Moog gave to the world. The composition is all Moog synthesizer,” Robeone says, and he cites the late Japanese synthesist Isao Tomita, a Moog devotee, for influence on the recording. Brian Auger and Keith Emerson influence the frisky “Jazzmorphis.”  The album ends with an epic musical journey, “Dream Suite,” with moving symphonic organ parts inspired by Deep Purple’s Jon Lord.

In addition to the Moog, Robeone uses a range of only keyboards on the “Dream Suite” album-- Mellotron, Kurzweil, Yamaha, Roland, Korg, Ensonic Roli Seaboard, EMU, and the Ashun Sound Machine.

Robeone/Robert has been recording since the early 1970s. He’s worked with notables Ronnie Spector and for Johnny Nash when “I Can See Clearly Now” was a hit.  He played with progressive rockers Mayson on Bearsville Records, pop rock acts The States on Chrysalis and Boardwalk Records. He’s in the progressive rock group ZOOM with Paul Landry on New Age Music Planet Records. Recently he recorded with two different Melodic Revolution Records’ artists Tony Romero’s Vortex and Joe Mac’s American Garage. He’s played live at a number of Festivals—most recently ProgStock and RosFest. Robert also worked on the award-winning soundtrack to "The Fiery Narrows - Following the Path of John Charles Fremont."

Located in Asheville, North Carolina, The Bob Moog Foundation is an independent 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of Bob Moog by inspiring others through science, music, and innovation. The Foundation is providing much needed innovative and effective educational opportunities to children — youth who will become tomorrow’s generation of thinkers and problem solvers.
